I had a lovely stay at Bulul Garden Resort, enjoying its cozy atmosphere and great location just a short walk from the village center. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. However, there were a few issues, like the lack of a fridge and occasional noise from construction, which slightly impacted my overall enjoyment.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and tastefully renovated, though a bit small for three people. I appreciated the patio outside my room, which was a nice spot to relax. However, it lacked a few amenities like a fridge and wardrobe.
Service
9.0
The service from Vanessa, the caretaker, was excellent. She assisted me with directions and recommendations. The staff were always available to help with booking tours and bringing food from their restaurant, which was a nice touch.
Location
8.0
The resort has an excellent location, just 200-300 meters from the main village, making it easy to explore local restaurants and shops. Despite being on a main street, it felt quiet and peaceful at night.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed dining at the resort's associated restaurant, La Siette. The delivery service to my room was convenient, especially during a typhoon when I wanted to avoid going out. The food was delicious, particularly the French dishes, and I appreciated the 10% discount.
Facilities
6.0
While the facilities were basic, including no swimming pool, the beautiful garden area was a great spot to unwind. I did find the absence of hot water after the first day a bit disappointing.

My stay at Bulul Garden Resort was a mixed experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of El Nido, making it easy to access shops and restaurants. However, the room I had was quite small and lacked some basic amenities, and the staff were not very interactive. Overall, the resort offers a decent option, but there are many improvements needed.

Rooms

The room was small and felt a bit damp. I appreciated the patio leading to the garden, but found the water pressure inconsistent and there was no hot water. It was a bit challenging to lock the doors, which added to my discomfort.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly but not very proactive. I expected more assistance during my stay, especially considering the issues with the room. Basic services like cleaning were not provided unless requested.
Location

The location was excellent—conveniently close to restaurants, stores, and tour bookings. It was easy to explore the area, which I really enjoyed.

Though breakfast wasn't included, I could order meals from their restaurant with delivery to my room. The nearby La Siette restaurant was a highlight, offering delicious food, especially their desserts.

The resort had a lovely garden area and offered some useful services like tour bookings, but I missed having a fridge in the room and better amenities. There's no swimming pool, but the surroundings are enjoyable.

I had a decent stay at Bulul Garden Resort. The small hotel is clean, and the staff are incredibly accommodating. though there were a few discomforts that impacted my experience. I particularly enjoyed the delicious banana pancakes for breakfast and appreciated the proximity to various local amenities.

Rooms

The room was basic and clean, but it was smaller than expected, and I faced some issues with water pressure. The air conditioning was effective, but I did experience some noise from the nearby water pump.
Service

The staff, especially Vanessa, were wonderfully helpful. They were flexible with check-in and check-out times and went out of their way to assist me during my stay.
Location

The resort is conveniently located just a short walk from the beach and near several restaurants and shops. This made it easy to explore the area and book island-hopping tours.
Dining

Breakfast at the resort was enjoyable, particularly the banana pancake. I also appreciated that I could order food from La Siette, which is right next door. The quality of food was generally good.

While there are no extravagant facilities, the basic amenities met my needs. However, the lack of reliable WiFi was disappointing during my stay.

7.4/10

My stay at Bulul Garden Resort had its ups and downs. While the location was excellent and the ambiance was lovely, the service left much to be desired. The lack of breakfast and ineffective Wi-Fi were inconvenient, and the room, though clean, had some dampness issues. Overall, I enjoyed the garden setting, but I probably won't return. 🌴😕

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was small and a bit damp, with no hot water available. There were also issues with ants and occasional cockroaches, which made the stay less comfortable. The lack of a wardrobe for wet clothes after tours was disappointing.
Service
5.0
The staff was not very helpful or communicative. Though they changed towels regularly, there was no daily room service and breakfast was often served late and cold. The overall service did not match the expectations based on the price.
Location
9.0
I loved that Bulul Garden Resort was conveniently located near stores and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area on foot. It really is right in the heart of El Nido, which was a big plus!
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, there was no breakfast served, and the nearby restaurants' seafood made us sick. While the idea of dining at their restaurant with a delivery option was appealing, I didn't get to take full advantage of it.
Facilities
5.0
They offered basic amenities, but there weren't many facilities to speak of. No swimming pool and only minimal housekeeping made it feel more like a budget option than a resort experience.

I had a wonderful time at Bulul Garden Resort in El Nido. The location is perfect, just a short walk from various shops, restaurants, and the beach. While the room was small, it was clean and newly renovated. The staff, especially Vanessa, was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, which really made the experience special. However, I did find the lack of breakfast options included a bit disappointing, and the water smell was an issue, albeit a common one in the area.

My room was small but clean and tastefully renovated. I loved having a patio overlooking the garden, which added to the charm. However, the lack of a closet and some small maintenance issues made it less than perfect.
